“I, um, thought about getting a tattoo on my back as well at one point. I was thinking about getting Back to the Future. Back, because it's on my back; and future because I'm the kind of guy who likes to look ahead, into the future. I just think a tattoo should mean something, you know?”

Tattooing since 2010.
I used to draw on my walls as a child. It started in the closet, tucked back and hidden behind rows of early 90’s fashion that I believed enough to ward off my mother. A child’s discretion is of course, the epitome of subtle. My mother took one look at my masterpiece of oddly shaped horses and bulbous orcas and simply shrugged, “it’s your room” - a move she came to regret.
Many years later, I still possess a love of painting animals only now my canvas has migrated to skin. I love tattoos with a nature focus- whether flora, fauna or even outer space. I am also intrigued by any concept relating to another’s obsession as I find myself often consumed by some passion or another. Everyone should embrace their inner nerd!
When I’m not working, I’m probably buried under a mountain of books where I’ll remain until my partner notes my absence, and then I might be persuaded to watch one of the zillion shows I’m behind on. That, or I busy walking my demanding dogs which if you have a border collie, you know what I mean.
